Cotton Candy also known as Jacara and Shacara Pope, are two sisters equally talented with a unique and tasteful approach to harmony. Cotton Candy the group has been together for a short period of time only because the sisters were performing as soloist prior to forming the group. There was a period where the sisters joined a family friend at an attempt to create a trio, but due to creative differences the project folded. As a Duo Cotton Candy has an already begun making noise on the local music scene, doing background work and studio sessions with established artist. Both Jacara and Shacara sing 1st and 2nd Alto and Soprano yet there us a distinguishable difference in their tone. Jacara has a rich soft texture, while Shacara has a gritty engaging flow.

Producers are lining up to work Cotton Candy because of their song writing ability and dedication to creating fresh new music. Cotton Candy has in limited rotation one of their first recorded songs, on one Phillyís premiere radio stations. Limited only because of the stations play list format, Cotton Candy is hard at work writing new material, recording and working in their live show. Influenced and inspired by family and established artist Cotton Candy truly believes that hard work and sacrifice will some day help them to open doors for other artist of like minds.
